Lovingly made, reasonably priced cakes
Huckleberry is a small cake shop located in Urasa, Minamiuonuma. The store is run by one lady, who is about as humble as it comes - she almost can't believe the praise we heap on her when we buy cakes from her store. The cakes are made with love and so much attention to detail - and they're incredibly tasty to boot.There are some regular staples on the menu, but one of the best things about visiting here are the range of seasonal sweets she whips up. Everything from sweet potato to sakura is incorporated into the cakes here depending on the season, so you know you'll be able to snag something unique. As well as cakes, they also make a range of cookies and muffins. There's a small parking area out the front (only enough for about 2-3 cars tops). Payment is cash only but most cake slices are very reasonably priced at around 300 yen.
