Heritage Resort

For a quiet pool experience

The Heritage Resort in Kumagaya is known as Shinrin Koen Heritage Hotel, but its not actually that near Shinrin Park! It would take more than an hour to walk I'd say. The hotel has a golf course, hot springs and, in summer, an outdoor pool. This was the only pool that I know of that did not close during the pandemic, so we visited frequently as you don't have to stay in the hotel to use the pool. They have a daily price for day-trippers. The pool is small, but rarely busy. It feels a lot safer than the aqua parks for that reason. However, it is much more expensive than an aqua park or municipal pool. But parking is free.
