Slices of pizza conveniently located by Yokohama Station

Yokohama Station is a nightmare sometimes. When you're not dealing with the crowds and construction (it really is the Sagrada Familia of Japan), you're struggling with how to navigate outside the station. There's always a lot going on, but I'm always struggling to find out what there is to actually do there. Thankfully, I now know about Port of Call, which I treat as a little oasis in the chaos of Yokohama Station. It's located in the Vivre building which is through the West Exit. For everything going on around it, I'm surprised at how empty it usually is and how many people walk right past it. Inside is modern and clean. There is ample seating in the front and the back of the store. Their pizzas are on display for you through a glass case. They rotate their pizza toppings monthly, so there's usually something new every time I check. However, the gem is the jalapeno slice. They're very generous about the amount they give you, so you never have a bite without them! They are a bit on the pricier side, but it's worth the indulgence every once in a while. They'll toast your slice before giving it to you, so they always taste like they've come right out of the oven! The ratio of bread to sauce and cheese is almost perfect also. My only complaint is that their crust is always hard. Some people may like their pizza that way, but it reminds me more of a thin crust pizza, which I'm not a fan of. However, the service is always great and I've never been disappointed with the pizza. And with such a convenient location, it's definitely worth it to stop and check it out!
