New Days Urasa Station

Small convenience store - better options outside the station

The New Days convenience store is situated within the Urasa Station building - right before the ticket gates to access the platforms. It's a small store and quite honestly there are better options outside the station including a 7-11 which is literally right across the street. One good thing about the New Days store is that they do have some Niigata based omiyage for sale right out the front. There are sweets, souvenir keychains and pens, and small items like that. If you want to pick up something unique to Niigata Prefecture there is a small selection there. It's okay if you're at the station and in a hurry to grab a snack or drink, but if you've got a little more time before your train just pop over to the 7-11 for a broader selection of items.
