Sweet Potato ice-cream anyone?

This is a restaurant and shop renowned for its sweet potato produce, a specialty of Kawagoe. I have never eaten in, but have got ice-cream here on a number of occasions. I have also bought some sweet potato flavoured produce as souvenirs. There is a little seat outside where you can sit and enjoy an ice-cream, and if you time it right, while listening to the neighbouring landmark bell tolling. The ice-cream kiosk has a steady trade and it is not unusual to have to wait to be served. It is open 9 am to 6 pm seven days a week. Friendly and helpful staff. No English available that I am aware of, but a lot of their produce is visual so you know what you are buying. There is no parking that I know of. The tourist bus stops relatively close at "Ichibangai".
