7-11 Urasa

Conveniently located right across from Urasa Station

If you've ever had to catch an early morning shinkansen from Urasa Station, you'll find that nothing much inside the train station is open. The station itself has a small "New Days" convenience store, but it's very limited and doesn't actually open at 6am when the rest of the station does. If you find yourself in a predicament where you need to break a note to get some coins for a coin locker (like I did!!) then racing over to the 7-11 here is easy enough to do. It's one of the better stocked 7-11's that I have been to, always having plenty on the shelves to choose from no matter the time of day. It's also one of the stops that the International University of Japan's bus route follows, so if you're a student moving to the region to study here, this will probably be your local convenience store.
