A must for Thomas the Tank Engine fans

Thomasland is one of my personal favourite, and one of the most acclaimed, theme parks for toddlers and preschoolers in all of Japan. I do not advise it for children older than six. It is not necessary for the child to be familiar with Thomas the Tank Engine, although if they are a fan of Thomas the Tank Engine it will heighten the experience for everyone involved. Thomasland is part of the Fuji-Q amusement park, which I also have nothing, but good things to say about. Thomasland was specifically designed with small children in mind. Both Thomasland and Fuji-Q in general are extremely family friendly. There is just one ticket to enter both, so you can enjoy other parts of the larger park too. My family and I have been to Thomasland a few times over the years. I love that the majority of the rides in the park are suitable for children of all ages. I also love that unlike other amusement parks, a lot of the rides usually don't have a queue . Thomas and Percy Waku Waku land does seem to be the most popular and that one generally does have a queue in my experience. You usually have to wait between 10 and 30 minutes to ride that. Some of the rides give children stickers each time you ride them. This adds to the fun for small children. Fuji-Q is very well serviced by buses and trains and it is on a highway, making it easy to get to from Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures. The view of Mt Fuji just add to the overall experience. Regardless of Fuji-Q's opening hours, Thomasland opens between 9 am and 5 pm most of the year, but sometimes during off season it doesn't open until 9.30 am on weekdays.
