Friendly service and cost effective domestic shipping

Our local Yamato Transport/Kuroneko is great for numerous reasons. First and foremost, the staff here are always exceptionally helpful. There have been times for instance where I've needed a postage quote before shipping something I've sold on Japan-based Facebook buy-swap-sell pages, and they're always so happy to assist - I never feel like I'm being a bother. Secondly, their prices are often cheaper than Japan Post. They have a discount if you go here (as opposed to dropping your Kuroneko shipping off at a 7-11 or other third party), and if you've shipped something to the same address within a certain time frame you get a discount there too. There's plenty of parking out front of the store here too - super handy if you're trying to carry in multiple parcels to mail!
