Tachikawa Velodrome

Well kept cycling facility where you can watch

We had guests from home visit recently, one of whom is a competitive cyclist, and one of his "to-do" list items was to try and catch some cycling events happening here. The Tachikawa Velodrome is located in close proximity to some of Tachikawa's other major attractions like Showa Kinen Park, and depending on the day there are often competitive cycling events happening. On the day that our guests visited, there were sadly no events on, but we stopped by anyway and got to check out some people practicing, which was an interesting experience in itself. The venue is very well kept and they didn't mind us watching at all.
