Try the falafel burger!

Another spot we visited when we caught up with friends in Tokyo who were vegan is Ripple. Part of the "Ain Soph" group of vegan food eateries, Ripple is all about comfort food done in a vegan way. Think vegan cheeseburgers, vegan burritos, vegan mac and cheese - and you're on the right track! I decided to go for the falafel burger, since it's been forever since I've had falafel, and it really hit the spot. If you're after something sweet they also make a range of desserts. While we were eating they had just brought out freshly baked blueberry muffins, and they've even got tiramisu and other sweet treats to get your fix with. If you're a meat eater you might be skeptical but the food here was really good and if you do have guests in town who are vegan this is a good spot to take them. Also, it's in Shinjuku making it easy to get to.
