A bit of a must-do if you're a sweet tooth or have visiting friends and family!

If you have a sweet tooth, or if you have visitors in town who love all the quirky, photogenic stuff in Japan, then visiting Harajuku is a must for several reasons. One of them is Totti Candy Factory. You may have already seen the giant, rainbow colored cotton candy (or fairy floss, depending on what part of the world you hail from!) that they sell here - they have done the rounds on the internet and gained quite a bit of popularity. They're an inexpensive treat but I would say one is more than enough to split with company - if you all want a picture with the giant cotton candy then you can each hold it momentarily, and then just share it (they're seriously about as big as a torso...no kidding). As well as the giant cotton candy, they also have other sweets including the most adorable cake pops ever. Worth a look for some child-like fun!
