    Good Mexicanish Food in Kamakura

Mexican food has always been a pretty difficult thing to come by in Japan. Ask anyone from America and most will tell you that the options for Mexican cuisine are most lacking. Whatever options do exist are usually too bland, too expensive, or too Americanized to get the attention of anyone looking to scratch the Mexican food itch. For the longest time the only real viable option was getting some tortillas from a kaldi and making things yourself. So it was really surprising to find a place that can scratch the Mexican cuisine itch quite well in a car showroom in Kamakura. The so called California Burrito stand in the building offers a good amount of burritos, tacos, and salad bowls. While it's still not exactly Mexican food, it covers enough of the flavors and ingredients to be a step above the typical "mexican" places you would find in Japan. The price is also quite a bit lower than what other places of the same type would ask. So if you're in Kamakura and looking for a chance to satiate your desires for a more Mexican style flavor and are interested in the strange atmosphere of a cafe in the middle of a car showroom, it's definitely a place worth checking out.
