Old-fashioned, friendly shokudo

This is what I’ve been looking for - an old-fashioned shokudo, a Japanese diner that serves all kinds of dishes at reasonable prices. The staff members give you a genuine greeting, and serve classic teishoku set menu dishes. I had the kaisendon. Shrimp doesn’t agree with me, and I asked the staff to change up the shrimp with something else and I got a second juicy slab of maguro. The sides of horenso ohitashi and light soup broth reminded me of home made food made with heart. This is an awesome old school diner. I’ll be back next time I’m hankering for food made with love.
