Unicus Minami Furuya

Local Outdoor mall with shopping, cinema, climbing and services

Unicus in Minami Furuya (Kawagoe) is an open plan outdoor mall stretched over quite a bit of land. It actually has some pretty good shops considering it is just a local low key type mall. The Kawagoe branch of Babies-r-us is located here and since the route 254 Toys-r-us closed down this branch is now also a Toys-r-us. There is a Sports Authority beside it which has a good bouldering wall. The main supermarket is Yaoko and there is a home center beside it. There is also a food court close to the Yaoko with a handful of restaurants. There is a free play area in this area (pictured). There are three main car parks. One for the cinema which is the building closest to JR Kawagoe Line's Minami Furuya Station. Another car park is in front of the Yaoko, Home Center and area with some shops and services. The third one is at the back of the mall so to speak where the Babies-r-us and Sports Authority are. There is covered parking in this area too. Parking is free.
