A luxe oasis in the city for a bite to eat and a good drink

If you're shopping in trendy Omotesando, or even if you're just in Tokyo, the Aoyama Flower Market Tea House is a fun and tasty place to stop. The cafe is set inside the flower shop, so there is beautiful greenery all around - it's a bit of a tranquil respite from the busy nature of city life. They have a range of tea options on offer, such as rose and earl grey - and seasonal offerings too, which change regularly. As for the food options, they have tasty salads and desserts. Not the cheapest, but that's what you get for this part of Tokyo. It is quite a unique experience though for a place to dine - so I see it as partially paying for the atmosphere. Aoyama Flower Market Tea House has expanded to a couple of other locations (Akasaka and Kichijoji) but each store has a different menu. I've only been to the Omotesando location but I have no doubt the other stores are beautiful, too!
