Fish in chips in Tokyo - but not the best I've had!
I was excited when I discovered there was a fish and chip store in Tokyo - it was one of the comfort foods I missed most from home (and couldn't seem to find anywhere in the big city!). Enter Malin's in Roppongi. They've been around since 2014 and serve up fish and chips (and even pies) as well as a range of drinks. So what was the verdict? Honestly it wasn't the best fish and chips that I've had before. I don't know if the store was just having a bad day when I was in but the fish was super greasy (I know - it's fish and chips, it's meant to be greasy...but this was over the top!). The chips were pretty good, but I think my favorite part of eating there was their organic ginger beer - super tasty! They also have several beers, cider, and red and white wine if you want an alcoholic drink with your meal.
