Spring Valley Brewery

Fun brewery to visit in the trendy heart of Tokyo

Daikanyama to me is one of the coolest little suburbs in Tokyo. You have a ton of cool cafes and eateries, and the awesome (and super modern) Tsutaya store that you could spend all day at - and there's also this gem by the name of Spring Valley Brewery. The brewery is owned by Kirin but still has the feel of a much smaller enterprise, which is probably why I enjoyed it when I went. If you visit, I highly recommend getting the sample flight of beers - you get to try the six beers that they offer here, paired with some tasty tapas-style snacks that go well with them. They've also got heartier food options if you're after more than just beer and snacks, such as steaks, sausages, fancy looking charcuterie boards with meats galore, and even desserts that pair well with their beers. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the local area.
