Around the shopping street of Kawagoe, this little restaurant stands and always has a line of people waiting which makes you wonder if their food is that good! I was very much curious, but I'm too hungry to wait. Then, finally, my partner and I saw a clear path! No one was lining up, so we went in. However, the staff told us to wait outside, and they'll just call us in after they are done dealing with the customer before us. We waited. When we got in, I thought it was very packed. There were a couple of empty seats, but it took us about 20 minutes to get settled in our table upstairs. Guess what, they have MORE vacancies there. My partner said that maybe it's a marketing strategy. If people are lining up, others will think it must be first-rate. It's actually the reason why we were lured. FOOD: For first timers, they recommended WILDE STEAK. Here are the things we ordered. 1. 300g steak- ¥1,390 2. 450g steak- ¥1,850 3. Cola (2) - ¥600 4. Rice Set and Lettuce Salad (2) - ¥700 *If you want to add side dishes like potatoes, carrots, corns, and broccoli, just add 100¥ It was a very filling dinner. I'm glad I didn't add more stuff on my plate. The rice serving was a lot, which made me happy. Ikinari Steak has a lot of sauce and other condiments, so you can adjust flavor to your liking. So far, I was satisfied with the texture, spices, and its taste. I love their PEPPER DRESSING! One of the best dressings I've ever tastedꟷꟷSour and peppery. All in all, if you don't mind LINING UP and if you are REALLY craving for steak with thick cut, then I recommend you try Ikinari Steak out.
