Seria (Riverside Senshu)

As far as 100 yen stores go, this is tops

To me, 100 yen stores are a great way of picking up bits and pieces on a budget - and of all Japan's 100 yen stores (of which there are quite a few!) Seria takes out top spot for me in terms of quality and also the store layout. This store definitely delivers in terms of product availability, overall layout and the items being nicely curated. You can pick up everything here from cute dishware that doesn't look like it only cost you a few coins, adorable stationery, household cleaning items and more. It's also a fun spot to stop at if you're sending care packages back home - I love picking up bits and pieces here to share with friends and family. This particular Seria location is found within the Riverside Senshu shopping complex, a short distance from Nagaoka Station. The hours for Seria here are the same as the overall mall - 9am until 9pm seven days a week.
