Coffee Down by the Train Tracks
I doubt many people have made it a point to go to Okusawa station for anything, it's a very small and calm area just about 15 minutes walk from Jiyugaoka. Yes that Jiyugaoka, which is often sought out for good food and even great cafes. Onibus is a cafe that seemed to quickly climb to its near legendary status for very good reason, they know coffee really well. Both of their locations have this small shack feeling and both are incredibly close to the tracks by a station. Don't let that fool you into thinking it's a bad looking place, both locations are really nice and well designed, and more than the other, this one has a "hanging out down by the train tracks feel" that's more akin to rural Japan than Tokyo. Onibus always seems to have a blend and a single origin espresso on offer. If you've seen my other reviews you can tell I'm a sucker for single origin espresso, and Onibus doesn't shy away from the coffee regions that are more tricky making it well worth it to try.
