Pies in a pop up Roppongi Location
If you love a good pie, but living in Japan has perhaps seen that go by the wayside, a pop up shop in Roppongi might come to the rescue for you. They go by the name Pie Holic, and they have another location in Yokohama - this “pop up” store in Roppongi Hills is intended to be there for a year. They have all manner of pies here - from the sweet (with varieties like pecan, s’mores, and a mint chocolate chip pie) through to the savory (such as zucchini corn, sloppy joe, and the ever faithful shepherd’s pie and meat pie). Most pies will run you from around 400-550 yen each - so perhaps a little more expensive than this Aussie would expect when she’s used to a good old Four-n-Twenty meat pie at the football back down under. In saying that though, they are tasty, and definitely on the money for aesthetics.
