Starbucks at Kamiooka Station

Aside from convenience, this Starbucks has nothing going for it. And being on the second floor of the Wing department store building, it's not even that convenient! Find the escalator and go up and wander around and you'll find it sticking out of one side. Unlike a normal Starbucks, this one has more of a "to-go" feeling. The line extends into the rest of the department store because there's no actual storefront. Which also means that there isn't room for many employees. So, lines can form quickly because there are only 2-3 people working at a time! Thankfully, they're really nice about it. Seating is equally as irritating. There's a little seating alcove next to it exclusively for Starbucks customers. It's usually pretty crowded so you'll be lucky if you can snag a seat at any time of the day. There's also an annex across the way which is sometimes occupied by non-Starbucks customers. Alternatively, you can sit on one of the Wing department store benches. Overall, it's not a great Starbucks location, but it'll do in a pinch. You may have to wait in line a bit longer, but you could be used to queues like that. And if you don't mind taking your drink to-go, you'll find success here.
