Great pet care, however speed is not their strong suit
We have a Shih Tzu pup who got a bump to his eye recently and had eye proptosis, common in small dog breeds like pugs, shih tzus and Pekingnese who have shorter eye sockets than other dogs. We rushed him to the Koide Vet Clinic to be seen, and thankfully the vet was able to get his eye back into the socket. His eye is fine now with no apparent permanent damage, but when my husband got to the clinic they were still seeing regular appointments and didn't seem to prioritize urgent cases. Eye proptosis can cause blindness in dogs if left untreated for too long, so I do wish that they were more able to bend and flex rather than not seem to treat it as a pressing thing. It was actually one of the other people in the clinic waiting room who asked the receptionist to get us in next on our behalf...if they could recognize the urgency I don't know why it wasn't prioritized more from the staff! I'm on the fence with the review, since if we're talking about the inability to flex and prioritize based on urgent need I'd give them a poor review. However, my dog still has his vision and seems fine now, so I can't be too mad and have to be thankful they fixed the issue.
