Traditional Meets Modern
With a traditional exterior and a modern interior, Higashiyama Mizuho greatly combined these opposing aesthetic that perfectly reflects its cuisine. This restaurant offers both traditional and western dishes, giving its customer variety of choices. RECOMMENDATION: Since it's in Ishikawa, we wanted to try out something fresh and something that will remind us of Kanazawa. We tried out its NODOGURO SET MEAL, which is available during lunch time. However, it is only LIMITED so if you're going to make reservations and you are craving for this tasty fish, make sure to also ask about it. I'm not a big seafood fan, but I did enjoy eating this meal and I felt quite full afterwards. For 2,600, you'll get grilled Nodoguro, a bowl of rice cooked in a traditional way, soup, some side dishes, dessert, and a drink. I can say it's pretty worth it. It might seem pricey compared to other set meals. But, it was our holiday and spoiling ourselves from time to time is not that bad.
