    Emax Shopping Center Renewal

Nishitetsu Kurume Station's second floor Emax Shopping Center reopened a couple weeks ago. They seem to be trying to look as fancy as the malls in Tenjin (Fukuoka City). The Seria 100 yen store was removed and replaced with a drugstore, although there is already a much smaller one right outside of the station's gates. I like Bleu Bleuet right in the front for it's cute designs on everything from bento boxes to clothing. There are a few clothing stores and an ABC Shoe store, as well as a small 300 yen shop. I liked the Seria better. The exciting news is there will be a Starbucks opening at the end of May. There are a few other locations in the city now, but none are close to a station. In fact they are all in areas only easy to get to by car. The third and fourth floors are the same, as well as the west side of the second floor where the restaurants are.
