CLOSED PERMANENTLY
Unfortunately the very chic and enjoyable Koedo Lounge closed permanently a couple of years ago. The location is prime retail space and reportedly the bar closed because of the high rental costs. Their parent company is still going strong and they still have their main branch on the outskirts of Kawagoe.

No sloppy drunks here!
Koedo Lounge by Market Terrace is a chic and sophisticated bar near Hon-Kawagoe station on the way to the tourist district of Kawagoe. Despite having a larger than average drink menu, its not the type of place you'll find sloppy drunks. It is a more mature classy type establishment. It is suitable for a cozy date or for a group of friends. It is not ideal for children, although they do welcome them during the day. The food is fresh and local and they are a certified Saitama Agriculture Supporter restaurant. Meaning that they use mainly Saitama grown and produced ingredients in their food. Which, by the way, is delicious. The whole restaurant is no smoking, including the small terrace out front. There is no official car park, but there are coin parking lots nearby. Minutes walk from Hon-Kawagoe station and Kawagoe shi station.
