Yoita Kasen Ryokuchi Park

Great park for kids (and a fun cherry blossom spot!)

This park was recommended to us by some friends and it didn't disappoint! As well as being a great spot for kids if they're into all things dinosaurs, it was a surprising little gem for the cherry blossoms as well! There is plenty of play equipment for the little ones, and the trees that flank the area provide not only some shade but all the beauty of springtime as well. If you're in the area and need a spot for your children to burn off some energy I highly recommend this spot! It's a little out of the way of Nagaoka Station however, so it's best accessed by car.
