Fresh tasting Mexican food in the Tokyo 'burbs

If you're after Mexican cuisine, sometimes it can be hard finding it in Japan - but if you're located near any of Japan's US military bases, you'll probably find a Mike's Tex Mex not too far away. There are locations in Fussa near Yokota Air Base, in Okinawa, Sagamihara (near Camp Zama), and Misawa in Aomori that I'm aware of. The Fussa location is a popular spot that many American expats enjoy for their Mexican food - and whilst it might not be quite what you get back in the States, I might venture to say that it's better - the food is always super fresh, tasty, and served up pretty quickly even when they're busy. The store is family friendly (no smoking inside) and you can also pay with all major cards here, which is nice if you're not carrying cash. As well as their large range of tacos, burritos, enchiladas and more, they've got a great line up of margaritas if you're not driving! There's parking directly across the street at the Fussa Hospital and Mike's Tex Mex can part-validate your parking.
