Super tasty popsicles, but they are pricey...
Paletas Cafe is a chain that has a few locations in Japan now - there's one at Roppongi Midtown, another at the Ginza Six Mall - and there's even one at Kamakura if you're out that way doing some exploring. They make some delicious fruity popsicles, which are perfect at this time of the year with the summer heat and humidity. I think my favorite thing about Paletas is that they are really seasonal when it comes to the flavors they create. I think that definitely impacts how fresh and light their popsicles feel - plus, they would have to be just about the most photogenic popsicles I think I've ever come across. The only real downside is that they are pricey - most of the popsicles are around the 500 yen price range, which makes them only a very occasional treat for me. Other than that though, they're definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for a fresh and fruity summer treat.
