Super cool movie theater with events
Have you ever been to a movie theater that encouraged you to talk during the movie? Or dress up in costume? If not, perhaps try Shinjuku Picadilly. I am terrified of scary movies, so I decided the best environment to watch one is in a theater that encourages you to talk and scream and the like. Now, not all showings are like this, so please make sure to check beforehand if it's not a silent showing. But seeing a scary movie with people making jokes certainly lessened the tension. The theater is pretty big, but it's tall rather than wide. Each floor has a few theaters on it, and you need to take an escalator up in order to get to the correct one. Just make sure you pay attention, unlike me, because I missed my floor so I had to go back DOWN the escalator. What a hassle! The prices were average for the tickets and the food. But, because it is a relatively new theater everything was nice and clean. I definitely want to come back here for another talking viewing because it was a lot of fun. Plus, I didn't feel guilty about screaming at the scary parts of the movie!
