Super fun spot to watch a baseball game!
There's a few things that make watching a baseball game at Jingu Stadium fun and convenient. Firstly, the location is pretty fabulous. It's just a minute or two on foot from the Gaienmae Tokyo Metro Station, but you could easily walk there after a day of sightseeing and having fun in Omotesando/Harajuku and then catch a game in the afternoon. Secondly, it's just a charming, somewhat retro-feeling stadium that has character and personality galore. The spectators also help make the atmosphere wonderful, and to me a Japanese baseball game is one of those "not to be missed" experiences in Japan. Jingu Stadium is the home ground for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, and if you do want to check out a match you can find the current schedule at the following link: http://www.jingu-stadium.com/english/pdf/schedule_2018.pdf The 2018 schedule is up from April so have a look, and check out a game! When I went I was able to get tickets on game day.
