Echigo Kawaguchi SA

Well-equipped rest area with some great views

The Echigo Kawaguchi SA is a nice place to stop if you're passing through Nagaoka, and the well-equipped venue has some great views out over the surrounding nature of the area. There are places to grab a bite to eat, clean restrooms, and even a small aquarium that has koi in it! It's not the largest rest area though, and the amount of seating at the restaurant area isn't as spacious/plentiful as a lot of other rest areas I've visited.
