Hibiki no Mori Park

Large park that has something to offer no matter the season

The Hibiki no Mori park is situated in Koide, and is a park that has something to offer no matter the season. The park itself is flanked by mountains all around, and has something of an amphitheater styled setup. The green area in the center is large and during the summer months often has play equipment like large blow up balls available for children to play with. One of the most enjoyable things at the park here happens in the winter months - and that's the International Snowball Fight! Teams register in advance to battle it out here when the region is covered in snow, and the atmosphere is loads of fun. I highly recommend that festival if you're in the area around February! There is plenty of free parking at the venue - even at the time of festivals I've never been unable to get a spot here. The park is also right beside the Koidego Cultural Hall, which hosts events ranging from concerts to graduation ceremonies.
