The Takasaka Parking / Service Area outbound is the service area on the Kanetsu Expressway as you head away from Tokyo toward Gunma. It is well known among Ultraman fans as it has a large Ultraman hoarding beside the outdoor vending machines. Ultraman is a long running popular fictional hero TV programme. They change the Ultraman display periodically too. So it is not always the same Ultra hero each time. I am not sure what the current display is, even if I saw it I wouldn't be able to tell you which ultraman it is! The parking area is really big with everything you need to break up a journey. Food available includes ice-cream, ramen, yaki soba among others. They sell Key Coffee here. There is an information point. They have facilities for babies. The parking area accommodates 268 cars and 101 larger sized vehicles. They have an EV quick charging port.
