Calbee Jagarico - Camembert and Pepper

I'm always on the look out for new Jagarico flavors and this time I found another nicely designed package with some kind of diagonal light blue checkered picnic pattern. It's Camembert cheese and pepper! I'm not too familiar with the names of different cheeses, but I did hear of Camembert before. It looks similar to Brie (which I like a lot), but it is not. In the cheese making process, cream is added to Brie, but it is not to Camembert! Thus, Brie having a higher milk fat content and being more softer and creamier.

Either way, I love pretty much all cheese and was excited to try this flavor (because I also love pepper too). I wonder if Camembert cheese and pepper are usually eaten together though... or if it is a weird Japanese mashup concoction? I guess I'll just have to find out!

I feel like I should understand what this giraffe comic is saying.. but sadly I don't get it....

I love the wine and cheese! I'm not sure if it would taste good with these potato sticks though? Hmm...

Opening the package, I couldn't really smell anything other than pepper coming out... Usually cheese would have a distinct smell, and possibly more so with Brie and Camembert, but not in this potato stick form. 

I honestly didn't even know what flavor I was looking for, but I for sure tasted pepper. The cheese essence seemed very light, but overall the potato stick was delicious. I would get this again for sure!
