Coming from a country where you can find scones at just about every bakery, I'm always excited when I see them here in Japan. This pumpkin scone is a limited time offering available from 7-11 stores (there's also a sweet potato one if you'd prefer that!), and it has quite a few things going for it. First of all, I think the price is super decent at 170 yen including tax -- if you get a scone at an independent bakery it's usually quite a bit more than that. It's got a good pumpkin flavor to it without it being fully overpowering, and there's also a nice salty, buttery flavor. I personally recommend enjoying it warm with a bit of additional butter!

Since this is a limited time only product, the window you've got to get your hands on it is fairly short. I'm not 100% sure how long 7-11 will be stocking this item for, but I have to imagine it won't extend more than a few weeks. If it sounds like something that would be a must try for you, definitely head in to your nearest 7-11 store to grab one while you can.
