From the current "Mocchirin donut" range at Misdo, I think this is the best option for folks who have a more Western-leaning palate (the others are kinako and mitarashi flavored). The donut itself has a lovely soft but chewy texture to it, and it has a strawberry filling along with a strawberry sugar coating. I think it looks quite pretty overall, too. It is the most expensive donut in the range, but it is the most interesting IMO in terms of the filling and coating. I still don't think 237 yen is a bad deal for a good donut, either!

This is the most expensive donut from the Mocchirin range, so if you're looking for the most economical option then I'd recommend one of the other two options. In saying that, I reckon this one is the most involved of the three, so I guess you can say the price feels justified for what you get! Obviously another downside is the fact that this is a limited time only thing, so if you find yourself really enjoying it, it's likely to disappear as quickly as it appeared. Always a bit of a bummer when that happens, but Misdo is great at releasing fun new options throughout the year, so there's undoubtedly something else delicious just around the corner! :)
