Trick or Treating

There are so many trick or treating events going on. I am not sure if I am just now noticing it because my son is able to fully participate, but I am definitely surprised by just how much my son has been invited to go receive snacks.  The biggest differences here are that the date doesn't seem to matter, and it is not candy, it is snacks that they receive. Saturday, Sunday and now Monday, the 30th, we have walked around collecting various crackers and cookies from private trick or treating events. But nearly all of the treats have been more on the side of a snack than a candy treat. And while it is exhausting to dress up and go out three times, the smile says it is worth it.
