“Nippon Maru” the Unfurling Exhibition

The sail training ship Nippon Maru has been docked in Sakuragicho since her retirement in 1984. Since then, she is open to the public for exhibition. Twelve times a year, she unfurls her 29 sails with the help of volunteers. Come see the beauty of the unfurling exhibition.

Date&Time:

May 13 (Sun) and May 27 (Sun);

10:30-11:30: unfurling work in action

15:00-16:00: folding work in action
