Okay, THIS is the BEST 9%!

I thought I had hit gold when I found the sapporo 99.99 series for the best 9% drink, but that was not the very top, and of course it was Coca-cola and their only alcoholic product that took the crown.

I had heard about their new venure into drinks with a buzz in the form of the "Lemondou". The standard version of Lemondou is 5%, but I found this demon-lemondou with 9% alcoholic content instead, as well as 1.5 lemons worth of lemon juice. If I was paying the same 138 yen (plus tax) for either, I might as well go for the stronger one.

The drink was straight up impressive. The lemon was flavourful but not too sour. It was like drinking lemonade but for adults. Even for its price, I was so happy with it I bought more the next day.

The interesting thing is that the price of the drink is 138 at supermarkets and 150 at conbini, which is not that much of an increase. If there can only be one drink I could recommend to you, this Lemondou is the one to go for.
