The Meru-pay 11yen Coupon at 7-11

As different services are trying to start their own paying system, Merukari is having their own meru-pay currency. I am not a fan of using these many different systems, but meru-pay did intrigue to sign up as a good coupon.

For a while, they were having a 11 yen coupon for Seven-Eleven. Any onigiri under 200 yen became 11 yen, which was sweet. Now they are doing another coupon with fried food, and I definitely enjoyed that benefit too.

What I found weird though was that the two Seven-Elevens I visited actually did not take the meru-pay currency, so I had to pay the 11 yen in cash.... what was the point of having that coupon if it does not force the customers to use the currency then? Strange, but not complaining as I still got my good deals.
